Whether you're in town for a night or a weekend, you're bound to run into Waving Ray, the unofficial mascot of Soap Lake, WA. Waving Ray was created by artist, Terry Duffy years ago and has remained a staple since then.
Waving Ray is a nod to the areas origins. The artwork was inspired by the petroglyph artwork found along rocks and caves in the Columbia Plateau.
Some of this art can still be seen on hikes along Lake Lenore. Soap Lake has a rich history waiting to to be discovered.
So go on and take the path less travelled, Waving Ray will be there to guide you!
